Our Club junior entry, Sofia, received the trophy for the best instrumentalist in the District Young Musician Competition.
This was judged against all the instrumental soloists of whatever age who entered the competition from across the whole District.
Sofia went on to represent us at the Regional round, judged against the two Districts adjoining D1070, and won the single instrumental place available in the RIBI Final which will be held on 19th May 2018 in Edinburgh.
Our other entry, Emma, in the Intermediate age range, also won her class in the District Final.
