Donation keeps motorbike ambulances running

A few years ago our Club supported the establishment of the eRanger emergency service in Uganda by funding 2 motorbikes.

One of these bikes, bearing our Club name, is operational at Lwanjusi Health Centre III in the Manafwa District of Mbale.

During this period our eRanger ambulance has responded to almost 2,000 emergencies. Just over 50% of the calls were for emergencies arising in pregnancy. The remainder will mainly have been for children under 5 years of age but include adult malaria statistics and other emergency calls as well.

This year we were delighted to make a further donation of £300 to the eRanger charity to help keep our motorbike ambulance serving the people of Manafwe.
