The sun shone on a fund-raising golf tournament at The Leicestershire Golf Club yesterday. Coming out on top was the ORTHODOCS SWING team comprised of retired orthopedic surgeons, lead by past Rotary Club President Richard Power.
The event raised a total of £4,141, which will be shared equally between Food4Leicester and Leicester Gondar Orthopaedic Partnership. The former is the choice of Parmdeep Vadesha, the current President of the Rotary Club, and the latter charity being the choice of the winning team.
Our thanks go to all the players in the twenty-three teams, the sponsors, The Leicestershire Golf Club, and Rotary volunteers for their support in what was a very enjoyable day.
